Getting there

Well... we've been doing the injected hormones for a few months now and getting the hang of them. I can definately tell when she is due for a shot. And for the next couple days after, tends to get a little overly emotional at the drop of a hat.

Usually a couple days before the shot is due, I can start seeing some mood changes into a grumpier state of being. I know, not the most professional way to put it I guess, but that's the best way I can describe it. She gets irritated easier and stuff that she normally wouldn't, etc. etc. I know, sounds a little like PMS, but in this case, it's every 2 weeks, not once a month. On the plus side, it only lasts till she gets her shot. Delestrogen 20mg/ml .75ml every 2 wks. that's a mouthful isn't it. Good thing I give a darn good needle too :)

The couple days following the injection are usually a lot calmer, but can be a little touch and go too. Her last shot was a few days ago, and the next day we were at Wal Mart doing some shopping. On the way out, a little girl asked her if we wanted to buy a raffle ticket... some sort of fundraiser. Usually, we kinda say no thanks, but this particular day, she stops and gets out a dollar, then nicely tells the girl she can fill it out herself and we head to the bus stop. Just so no one else gets confused, she meant that the girl could put ehr own name on it and we were paying for it. Not five minutes later, she is all upset thinking she was rude to the girl. I saw the girl's mother's face and she understood, so that's all that really matters.

It does make it interesting, but I have to admit, it is also hard at times, not knowing what is coming next.

More later!!
